Welcome to Calgary Jewish Community Council
Calgary Jewish Community Council has proudly served the local Jewish community for more than a half century.
Today our primary activity is the strengthening of the bond between Calgarians and the state of Israel. Toward that end, we engage in a variety of initiatives including:
- advocacy
- speakers
- education
- Israel travel opportunities
Together with our partner communities in Etzba Hagalil (Northern Israel’s Galilee Panhandle) we devote ourselves to building and enhancing gesher chai, the “living bridge” between diaspora Jews and the men, women, and children of Israel.
